Business phone system integrations
When your phone system and your business software talk to each other, calls arrive with context and leave a record. On a dedicated OfficeCalling instance, we assess what your software allows and scope the integration that fits.

Why connect your phones to your software
In most offices the phone and the customer record live in different places. Someone answers without knowing who is calling, then types notes into another system afterwards — or doesn't. An integration closes that gap so the phone system and the software your team relies on share what they know.
Every business uses a different mix of tools, and every tool exposes different options. That's why we treat integrations as an assessed project on a dedicated instance rather than a switch on a shared plan: what's possible depends on your software, your subscription and what you want to happen.
Workflows we can assess
Examples of what businesses ask for. Each is a possibility to evaluate against your software, not a built-in feature.
Potential workflow
Caller context when the phone rings
Look up an incoming number in your business software so the person answering can see who is calling.
Potential workflow
Calls logged to the right record
Write call details such as time, direction and extension back to a customer or job record instead of typing notes by hand.
Potential workflow
Dial from the screen you work in
Start a call from a contact record rather than copying a number into a phone.
Potential workflow
Routing based on your data
Send a known caller to their account manager, or a priority customer to a dedicated queue, using information your software already holds.
Potential workflow
Call events to other systems
Pass call events to another vendor's platform through an API or webhook so a ticket, task or alert can be created.
Potential workflow
Reporting alongside your business data
Bring call activity into the reports your team already uses, so phone work sits next to sales or service numbers.

How an integration assessment works
- 1
Tell us about your software
Which CRM or platform, which edition, who administers it, and what you want calls to do.
- 2
Compatibility assessment
We review what your software exposes (for example an API or webhooks) and whether the workflow is achievable.
- 3
Scoped quote
If it's feasible, you get a written scope and quote for the dedicated instance and the integration work. If it isn't, we tell you.
- 4
Build, test and hand over
Agreed work is configured on your dedicated instance, tested with your team, and supported under the terms in your quote.
What we won't promise
- Certified partnerships with, or endorsement by, the software vendors listed above.
- That every edition or system can be connected, or a fixed timeline before we've seen your setup.
- Integrations on shared plans — they aren't available there.
Integration questions
Can I get phone system integrations on a shared plan?
No. Shared plans ($69 to $199/month for up to 15 extensions) include standard call routing, auto attendant, voicemail-to-email and apps, but not CRM, API or custom software integrations. Those require a dedicated, individual OfficeCalling instance.
Which software can OfficeCalling integrate with?
Integrations are available for CRMs such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Pipedrive, help desks such as Zendesk and ConnectWise, and tools such as Microsoft Teams, Outlook and WhatsApp — the full list is on this page. Each one is set up on a dedicated instance after we confirm your edition, licensing and API access. Software not on the list can still be assessed.
Is integration work included in the dedicated price?
Dedicated instances start at $279/month and are quoted to your size and requirements. Integration work is scoped during the assessment and included in your quote only once its effort and feasibility are known.
What happens if my software can't be integrated?
We'll tell you plainly. Sometimes a simpler workflow, such as call routing rules or recording and transcription, covers most of the need. You're not committed to anything by asking for an assessment.
Do I need a dedicated instance for more than 15 extensions anyway?
Yes. Shared plans top out at 15 extensions, so larger teams move to a dedicated instance. Integrations are one of several reasons smaller teams choose dedicated as well.
