CRM phone integration

Your CRM knows the customer. Your phone system knows the call. Connecting the two can mean fewer missed details and less manual logging — and on a dedicated OfficeCalling instance, we'll assess whether your CRM makes that possible.

When calls and customer records don't meet

A customer calls; whoever answers has to ask who they are and search for the record. After the call, notes go into the CRM if somebody remembers. Managers can't easily see how much phone work sits behind each account.

A CRM phone integration aims to remove those steps by linking calls to contacts, deals or tickets automatically. How much is achievable depends on your CRM, which is why it starts with an assessment.

    What we'll ask you

    • The CRM you use and the edition or plan you subscribe to
    • Whether you have administrator access and API access enabled
    • How many people take or make calls, and on which devices
    • What you want to happen in the CRM when a call starts, ends or is missed

    CRM-specific guides

    CRM workflows we can assess

Common requests from sales and service teams. Each is a possibility, confirmed or ruled out for your CRM during the assessment.

    • Potential workflow

      Know who's calling

Match the caller's number against CRM contacts so your team can greet a customer by name and open their record.

    • Potential workflow

      Automatic call activity

Log inbound and outbound calls against the contact, deal or ticket they relate to.

    • Potential workflow

      Click-to-call from records

Place calls from inside the CRM so sales and service teams spend less time switching windows.

    • Potential workflow

      Owner-based routing

Route a returning customer straight to the person who owns the account, with a fallback queue if they're unavailable.

    • Potential workflow

      Follow-up tasks

Create a task or reminder after a missed or completed call so nothing waits on somebody's memory.

    • Potential workflow

Recordings and transcripts linked to the record

Where call recording and transcription is in use, attach a link to the call in the customer's history.

Call recording and transcription is a $20/month company-wide add-on; linking recordings to CRM records is part of any integration scope. Need something other than a CRM? See all integrations.

      Scoped quote

If it's feasible, you get a written scope and quote for the dedicated instance and the integration work. If it isn't, we tell you.

      Build, test and hand over

Agreed work is configured on your dedicated instance, tested with your team, and supported under the terms in your quote.

    CRM integration questions

Does OfficeCalling integrate with my CRM?

If it's one of the CRMs we list — including Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Pipedrive, Bitrix24, Odoo, SugarCRM, Maximizer, Bullhorn and Teamleader — very likely, on a dedicated instance. We still confirm your CRM edition, licensing and API access before quoting. Other CRMs can be assessed case by case.

Is CRM integration available on the $69 shared plan?

No. CRM integration is not supported on any shared plan. It's only considered for a dedicated instance, which starts at $279/month and is quoted to your requirements.

What do you need from us to assess a CRM integration?

The CRM name and edition, whether you have administrator access, whether API access is enabled on your subscription, and a description of what you want calls to do in the CRM.

Will my CRM data be shared with other customers?

No. A dedicated instance is your own individual PBX, separate from other customers' systems. Any integration is configured for your instance only, and access is set up with your administrator.

How long does a CRM integration take?

It depends on the CRM and the workflow, so we don't quote a standard timeline. The assessment produces a scope, and timing is agreed with you in the quote.
