Salesforce Phone System Integration

See the Salesforce record before you answer, dial from Salesforce, and let calls log themselves. On a dedicated OfficeCalling instance, we connect your phone system to your Salesforce org after confirming your edition and setup.

    What the Salesforce integration does

Features documented for this integration. Which ones we switch on is agreed during your assessment.

    • Contact sync

Salesforce contacts sync to the phone system, so caller names show on desk phones and the desktop and mobile apps.

    • Call screen pops

Incoming calls are matched to Salesforce records and the matching record opens in your browser.

    • Click-to-call

Click a phone number in Salesforce to dial, using the phone system's browser extension.

    • Call control in Salesforce

Transfer, hold, mute and flip calls without leaving Salesforce.

    • Automatic call logging

Inbound and outbound calls are logged against the contact with date, time, call status and number.

    • Optional contact or lead creation

Unknown inbound or outbound numbers can create a new Salesforce contact or lead automatically.

    • Notes and conversation records

Call notes and messages sync to Salesforce; transcriptions and AI summaries can sync where those features are in use. Recording and transcription features use the $20/month company-wide call recording and transcription add-on.

    Example workflows with Salesforce

    • Example

Sales rep picks up a returning lead

The lead's record pops up as the phone rings, so the rep opens with context instead of asking who's calling.

    • Example

Outbound calling from a list view

Reps click numbers in Salesforce to dial, and each call is logged to the record automatically.

    • Example

      New caller becomes a lead

A call from an unknown number creates a lead, so the follow-up isn't lost on a sticky note.

    How we set it up

    1. 1

      Tell us about your software

Which CRM or platform, which edition, who administers it, and what you want calls to do.

    2. 2

      Compatibility assessment

We review what your software exposes (for example an API or webhooks) and whether the workflow is achievable.

    3. 3

      Scoped quote

If it's feasible, you get a written scope and quote for the dedicated instance and the integration work. If it isn't, we tell you.

    4. 4

      Build, test and hand over

Agreed work is configured on your dedicated instance, tested with your team, and supported under the terms in your quote.

    Salesforce integration questions

    Does OfficeCalling integrate with Salesforce?

Yes, on a dedicated OfficeCalling instance. The phone platform we run has a published Salesforce integration, and we set it up for your instance after confirming your Salesforce version, licensing and compatibility.

Can I use the Salesforce integration on a shared plan?

No. Salesforce integration is only available with a dedicated OfficeCalling instance. Shared plans (up to 15 extensions) don't include CRM integrations of any kind.

What do you check before quoting a Salesforce integration?

Your Salesforce edition and licensing (Salesforce Enterprise, Unlimited, Developer or Performance Edition), administrator access, how many people take calls and on which devices, and which features you actually want switched on. If something doesn't fit, we say so before you commit.

Is the Salesforce integration included in the dedicated price?

Dedicated instances start at $279/month and are quoted to your size and requirements. Salesforce integration setup is scoped during the assessment and shown in your quote. Your Salesforce subscription stays separate and is billed by its provider.

    Is OfficeCalling a Salesforce partner?

No. We don't claim a partnership with or endorsement by Salesforce. The integration is provided by the phone platform, and Salesforce is a trademark of its owner.
